I've been experimenting with makeup a lot lately and lipstick is kind of my new obsession. It's funny to think that a year ago, I don't think I owned a single shade.

 These next two are my favorite of the bunch && definitely the most worn.

Memories of 2012

Looking back at 2012, I couldn't remember much of my spring semester at school. I know I had a full course load and was working 40+ hours a week. I played a fair amount of rugby and started leading a local girl scout troop.
And then looking through some old pictures, I found these gems. We didn't decide to perform until the morning of the show. Two of my good friends choreographed a dance for us to the song "Sugalumps" from Flight of the Conchords. It was ridiculously nerve-wracking, but so so fun.

I got this new, long-sleeved red velvet dress for New Years Eve.

2012 has been a pretty great year. I hope 2013 is just as exciting!

It's finally December! I've been preparing for the holidays for weeks already, but now the rest of the world is ready for it, too. Since I've been filling our room with holiday music and movies and decorations for some time now, I wanted to get something for my room mate, so I picked out advent calendars for each of us! It took me forever to find some, though. Are they not as popular now or something? I know when I was little I used to get one every year, but I had to look all over to find some, and even when I did the selection was very slim.
