Spring Inspiration

I've been super busy lately. I joined a rugby team and it's fantastic, but balancing that and school and work, I barely have time for anything! My social life is dwindling. Haha. Not to mention, I'm still a little sick. I've had an annoying cough for at least a month now.
Anyway, warm weather is finally arriving and here are some inspiration photos I'm loving right now. I am seriously digging the spandex under shorts and some nice head wraps.

For Those About to Rock,

I've been really sick for the past week or so, but I am slowly making my way back to normal. It's supposed to be 70 degrees here today, which is awesome. I really need to update my wardrobe before summer, I've realized. I am lacking in pretty dresses and shorts. Today I just need to get from my dorm to class, so this chill get-up will be fine, but I need to get ready for upcoming weeks! I'm heading to the beach for Spring Break and I would like to go in style.

One thing you're going to learn about me is that I am a huge Harry Potter fan. So, naturally, I love Emma Watson. I have also been rather intrigued by her style for a while now. I will admit that I like her long hair better, but she can definitely rock the pixie cut. My favorite outfit out of these is the jean shorts with the white top. It's so simple, yet she looks so good! There's also that summer vibe that I've been yearning for for the past few weeks.

Gold Star

I just bought this great jacket from LA Vintage. I've been eying it for a while and today I finally decided to go for it! I just love the gold stars against the bright red.

Look of the Day

I own probably a total of three long sleeve shirts and you can't wear the same sweater too many times, so this winter I have tried to master the art of layering. I tend to wear a tank top layered with multiple sweaters, plus my pleather jacket once I'm outside. It's worked for me, but I'm kind of tired of it. I am ready for the spring to come and wear pretty dresses and short shorts.

What do you think? Are you ready for the warm air?

Style Crush

I feel like she gets a lot of shit for not acting or dressing her age, but personally I think Taylor Momsen is gorgeous. I wish I had the guts (and body) to wear some of her outfits. I think they're a nice mix of classy and edgy. They do tend to be on the short side, and some of them are a little risque, but they look great on her. Be honest, who doesn't love a nice leather jacket or pair of fish nets?

Saturday night I went to a 90s party and it was fantastic.
I couldn't afford to buy anything new, so I had to rummage through my closet and find something. All of my friends were going for the bright colors and pop-like style, like the Fresh Prince and the Spice Girls. I decided to go more for the grunge look with ripped up fishnets and short dresses.
