These are from my last night in Paris. It was a lovely evening. We had exquisite crepes at a beautiful little creperie, then went to the Eiffel tower and waited in line for 2+ hours, managing to be the last people of the night allowed at the top.

Sneak Peak: Louvre

We went the Louvre yesterday and it was beautiful. I was honestly probably more intrigued by the building itself than the paintings. I've been there once before, around 2 years ago, but it's still breathtaking.

I arrived in Paris yesterday and it is every bit as lovely as I remember. Sadly, my french is horrible. I really should have taken more than 1 semester.

The bus stopped by la Tour Eiffel on  the way to the hotel, so we all hopped out and I snapped this shot. I thought this man was just perfect with his stylish suit jacket, his cigar and little dog.

London, Day One

What a crazy day! I walked around town for hours with my huge pack on before finding this cute little hotel. It's very nice and homey and has gorgeous high ceilings. Tomorrow the plan is to just check out, find the Copthorne Tara Hotel, check into there and hopefully meet some people from my class. I'll probably spend some time exploring, but who knows where yet.

London

I'm at the airport right, ready for my flight to London. I'm spending the next month in Europe, exploring the cities of London, Paris, Brussels, Strasbourg, Frankfurt, Prague, and Berlin. Throughout the month I'll be taking a class on "Business and Politics of the European Union". I seriously can't tell you how excited I am. I've been super busy lately and really haven't been thinking about it, but now that I'm here in the airport, waiting on my (3-hour delayed) flight, I'm just itching with enthusiasm.

Travel Day

Today was a long but wonderful day. I spent the majority of it en route from North Carolina heading back home for the summer. First it was on the city bus, then in the airport where I had to run across multiple terminals in order to make my connection. But I'm home now and it's wonderful to see my family.

No details yet, just that it's not Potter-related. No matter what, though, I'm stoked. This woman seriously changed my life.

It was 70degrees here today and GORGEOUS outside. All I could think about is how much I want it to be summer already. Bright colors, loose clothing, and nothing but sunshine. That's what I need right now.
