Last night I went to a medieval dinner show with my family, and my younger sisters Girl Scout troop. It was truly, a lot of fun. They split you up into different colored sections, and you cheer on your sections knight. We were the red and yellow section, so my sister and I spent the entire night leaning over our dinners, cheering and chanting "RED AND YELLOW, RED AND YELLOW," trying to drown out the cheers from other teams. Our knight didn't end up winning, but it still paid off because when he came out after the competition he threw 3 roses into the crowd and the first landed directly in my lap. (:

I've been spending most of my days in front of my laptop, working from home. I can't wait until I get a new battery and can do all this from outside! It's been raining a lot, but in between the storms it's just lovely! Hopefully I'll be doing a little shopping this afternoon/evening, but if not only my family and the four walls of my house will be seeing this outfit.

I've been really busy with getting my personal life organized, and with my wonderful new job, so I haven't had as much time to do outfit posts as I thought I would. I don't have anyone reliable to take pictures, so it takes a while, trying to gain some magic self-timer skills.

Final exams are finally over and I'm back home for the summer. I've seen some family and friends and it's been lovely so far. My family is a little exhausting. Haha. But I guess that's to be expected. It's hard to go from living with 7 other people your own age, to living with parents and 3 younger siblings. Tomorrow I start my summer job as an energy consultant. Wish me luck, 'cause I'm super nervous!

Happy Mother's Day!

I wish I had a picture of me and my Mom together, but unfortunately I don't have any saved on this computer, and I can't take one because I won't be home for another week.
The picture above is of my Grandmother from her birthday party in January. She is a wonderful woman whom I love very much. She is caring and considerate, but not afraid to speak her mind. As far as I can tell, she raised my mother and Aunts and Uncles brilliantly and she's been an extraordinary grandmother to me and all of my siblings.

To all the mothers out there, your hard work is greatly appreciated by all! None of us would be the people we are today without you.

My Closet With Emilia de Poret - H&M Fashion Video

I just watched this video thanks to Verena at Appeal to the Eye. I had never heard of Emilia de Poret before, but I'm enjoying her music now and her closets were INCREDIBLE. I hope to have a great collection like that one day.

Trailer!

The problem with being the only one of my friends with a nice camera, is that I'm always behind the camera, rather than in the shots. However, summer is approaching, school is almost over, and with that change there will be plenty more posts!
In the meantime, enjoy the new trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, coming out this July. (:
